Joley L. Steffens, Esquire, has practiced Elder Law in Virginia since 2012.

Joley is a Past President of the Virginia Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (VAELA).  Joley was named Young Lawyer of the Year by the Richmond Bar Association in 2015, as well as Top 40 Under 40 by Style Weekly Magazine in 2014. Joley received the Volunteer Attorney of the Year Award from Legal Information Network for Cancer (LINC) in 2014, and was recognized in their Attorney Spotlight article in 2013.

Since 2014, Joley has been named a Legal Elite, Legal Services/Pro Bono category, by Virginia Business magazine and for five consecutive years, has been selected to the Super Lawyer’s “Rising Stars” Virginia List, Elder Law category.

Joley is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Joley received her undergraduate education from The College of William and Mary, where she was awarded a dual Bachelor of Arts Degree in the Thomas Jefferson Program in Public Policy and Sociology.
